| |
|
| |

of the Hamburg Hanseatic City, supported

During the 4
weeks of open doors, the exhibition
attracted 5200 visitors, mostly specialists
from the construction sector as well
as various multipliers, municipalities
and potential buyers. |
| |
|
| |
Visitors benefited
from 4 weeks of open doors to be introduced
to the latest and most innovative
techniques for energy efficient building.
Conferences and seminars were organized
on various technical topics every
day on both sites. |

All building
performance have been evaluated and
certified by independent entities.

The 147 accommodations
on both construction sites were developed
by 15 developers. The project benefited
to regional Small and Medium Size
Enterprises, though this public private
partnership between the city and the
industry. |
| |
|
| |
Up to now about
135 accomodations have been sold –
according to the tense situation of
the building industry and the general
consumer reticence, this is also for
the region of Hamburg an exceptional
result. |
| |
|
| |
With a minimal
start-up financing of the Hamburg
Hanseatic City, investments of €
25 Million have been generated. This
was possible by the Private Public
Partnership (PPP). The cooperation
of all concerned authorities, policy
makers and the private sector, has
enabled to realize the project in
best time. From the first considerations,
plannings and preparations to the
completion of the buildings only 2
½ Years have past. |
| |
|
| |
The results of
this EU-project will be used in other
comparable substainable urban and
building redevelopments, which are
prepared together with several local
authorities – among others in
Shanghai and St. Petersburg two sister-cities
of Hamburg. |
| |
|
| |
The Solar Building
Exhibition runs parallely in 12 European
cities. It is at the origin of the
concept for ecobuild
shanghai 2006. |
