The Pujiang Intelligence Valley, an energy efficient office building of 12000sqm located in the Minhang District, will consume 75% less energy than a conventional office building.

The German Construction Minister Wolfgang Tiefensee visited Pujiang on September 21st, 2006 and certified the project with the "Energieausweis", the German evaluation system for building energy efficiency. This is the first time that the Energiepass has been awarded outside of Germany.

Energy saving technologies integrated include, among others, geothermal energy, concrete core activation, green roof, exterior sun-shading, insulation and 100% mechanical ventilation systems.

The building had previously received a price from the Chinese Ministry of Construction as one of the most innovative office building in China.
