EcoEx:Edu - may workshop in the frame of ecobuild shanghai 2006:
Hamburg and Shanghai students to work on an energy-efficient retrofit of a Bauhaus university building on Tongji Campus
   

The joint education program EcoEx:Edu (Ecological Building Exhibition Shanghai 2006 : Educational Exchange Programme) between Tongji University, CAUP and the Hamburg Faculties of Architecture, running parallel to ecobuild shanghai 2006, is developing further after the visit of Prof. Sabine Busching in Shanghai last month.
A two-weeks-workshop in May 2006 at Tongji University will enable 15 Hamburg students and three Hamburg professors to work with their Shanghai counterparts. This workshop acts as a follow-up of the Intercultural Workshop >Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning in Growing Cities< that took place in July this year in Hamburg. The design task for the May workshop is: >Energy Efficient Retrofit of a Bauhaus University Building on Tongji Campus<. Prof. Sabine Busching from the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg and Prof. Huang Yiru from Tongji University are the organizers of the project.
